Biography

Dr. Jérémie Bonneau is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Water Engineering. His expertise lies in environmental fluid mechanics, particularly physical oceanography and limnology. His research aims to understand the physical mechanisms that influence currents and mixing in bodies of water at all scales, from small lakes to the ocean. To do this, Dr. Bonneau combines numerical modeling and in situ observations. His research contributes to a better understanding of the physical processes that influence water quality, aquatic ecosystems, and the response of northern and polar environments to climate change.
